The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, reviewed a report from Dr. Maha Al-Damlawi, Head of the City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications in Burj Al-Arab, on the visit of a delegation from the city to the experimental farm in the new city of Burj Al Arab. Hamada Zahran, Governor of the Rotary Region 2451.The report pointed out that the aim of the visit is to implement the main project of the “Rotary area 2451”, and the cultivation of 2,700 trees, and the preparation of the new Burj Al Arab area with trees (olives, figs, pomegranates, pears, lemons and camphor.
Dr. Maha Al-Damlawi pointed out that the experimental farm in the new city of Burj al-Arab comprises 28 feddans. Two experimental parts were allocated for experimental research on crops, cereals, vegetables and fruit trees, and the other one is for producing crops by season.
She stressed the importance of partnership in projects of a developmental nature that serve national projects and the needs of the state, and work to stimulate projects and researches that are applicable to industrial and agricultural so as to contribute to solving the problems of the technological community through Egyptian think tanks.
